Just found out that you can link your Aeroplan points to Bell. Earn a few points as you do business with Bell.

Thank you for bringing this to the attention of the Bell Community Forum members.

Bell - Aeroplan Points

Bell will credit your rewards directly to your loyalty program accounts when you activate eligible new services. Earn points on eligible new Bell services. Link your Bell and Aeroplan accounts just once and your Aeroplan points and any Status Qualifying Credits you may be eligible to receive will be credited as you get them.

To link your Bell and Aeroplan accounts, simply log in to your: MyBell account

Scroll down the My services page to the loyalty program section.
Have your Aeroplan number handy.
Select > Link Aeroplan account.
Follow the on-screen prompts.

Switch to Bell and Earn Aeroplan Points | Bell Mobility | Bell Canada

I saw an " OFFER" inside my BELL's app. The offer was named " TRAVEL PASS 1000 Aeroplan points".I accepted that offer the day before yesterday. Does anyone have any idea about where and how I could get my points? Thanks in advanced for your reply.

Since this is Aeroplan points , you shall see the transaction in your Air-Canada Aeroplan app.

It takes a day or two to hit Aeroplan and you should get a transaction confirmation email to that effect.

Hi. Please note the link Bell to Aeroplan link and process does not work for me. Followed instructions but once I input my aeroplan number I get a message the number or last name down match

i called Bell and they said they don’t see an issue with the account and it should work. They are pointing fingers at aeroplan. Îve been on hold with aeroplan now for an hour and still nothing. But I suspect they will tell me it’s a Bell issue since the link activation happens on the Bell site.
Had anyone had this issue?

(I am not and employee of BELL or AEROPLAN. But like you- a customer trying to help)

It doesn’t make sense that BELL has the whole AEROPLAN customer base. It makes sense to me that, when you give BELL your AEROPLAN information, they check with AEROPLAN to see if it matches. If it doesn’t, nothing BELL can do.

So I would say, double check with AEROPLAN instead of BELL.

Hi. Aeroplan person I spoke to, who was very helpful confirmed issue is not with aeroplan but Bell. She tried linking her accounts and she got the same error

You should call Bell, not aeroplan. It's a Bell issue - they just don't have qualified folks working in customer service to understand. If you speak french, I suggest when you call the customer service number to indicate french as your preferred language and maybe you can get someone local who may understand the issue I will try calling today again

I have validated multiple times that my last name is same on Aeroplan and myBell profile, yet I continue to get an error every time I try to link them together.

Bell API returns error message: "Failed to validate the provided membershipNumber"

I contacted Bell support representative however they seemed clueless.

I would like to assist you. In order to do so, can you please provide us with the specific issues you are having in linking your MyBell account to Aeroplan.

Have you tried restarting your browser, clearing your cache, cookies and history in your browser's settings?

Have you confirmed your account number with Aeroplan? Have you contacted Aeroplan to see if they are experiencing any system issues?

To link your Bell and Aeroplan accounts, simply log in to your: MyBell account

Scroll down the My services page to the loyalty program section.
Have your Aeroplan number handy.
Select > Link Aeroplan account.
Follow the on-screen prompts.

FYI only:: Community Moderators must review and approve all uploaded images before they can be displayed. Although you can see your uploaded images that are awaiting approval, other community members who view your images can only see the ones that have been approved.

Hello everyone,

I have a bell small business account but not able to link my aeroplan account even though ny first and lasy name mayches exactly what I have on my aeroplan account.

It doesn't seem like bell employees know what to do: I've called and messaged them 3 times.

Is there anything you suggest?

On my friends account I saw him put in his aeroplan number and it accepted it right away. It seems as though there's some kind of mismatch with mine.

Thank you for posting your question. This is a peer-to-peer website. We do not have access to your account & billing records. We will do our best to assist in answering any questions you might have.

I just reconfirmed that the link on MyBell is active and working.

You can go to MyBell, check the MyServices section or MyProfile sections and click on Manage within the Memberships and Rewards section. Enter your Aeroplan number and last name. Please note that your last name must match on both your Bell and Aeroplan accounts. Additionally note it will say Link Aeroplan account, only once linked will it say Manage.

Can you please verify that your last name matches on both your Bell and Aeroplan accounts and that your meet the eligibility criteria as shown in this Aeroplan Points with Bell promotional weblink:

If everything is copacetic, then you should be able to follow the instructions that I have included

There are a few common reasons why a customer may not be eligible:

Your current plan does not appear on the list of eligible Bell plans.

Your Bell account is not in good standing; you have migrated to an ineligible plan or there are issues with your Aeroplan account.

If you believe there has been an error, please contact Bell to review your account.

I have tried many ways to link my Aeroplan to MyBell, but im getting error messages on the page, or nothing at all.

Furthermore, I used the live chat, got a call back, and then got transferred to a 'specialist' who hadn't even heard of Aeroplan.

Aeroplan points are part of my contract and this needs to be addressed ASAP.

You've indicated that when you try to link your Aeroplan to MyBell, sometimes you are getting an error message. Are you able to share what the error message indicates?
