I want to advise everyone to keep you Mybell profile information safe. Today April 30/2024 @ 2:56pm cst I received email about my profile deleted by someone. After couple mintues i received another email in which he/she tried to change the billing email address.

please keep aware of all suspious activites and stay safe

Bell will never ask for any personal information via email such as passwords, PIN numbers, banking or credit card information.

I recommend that you click "Mark as spam" from webmail (when you log in from http://www.bell.net) this will ensure the team managing Bell email service will be aware of this specific spam campaign, can investigate and block it. You can also send a copy of that email to abuse@bell.ca

The most important part of fraud prevention is education and awareness. Knowing about the different types of fraud, how to identify fraud attempts and what they look like, along with what to do next if you suspect fraud are key to increasing your protection.

A chat agent named veener started a chat with me on mybell website after a pin verification, It's all quiet and then the chat disconnects and I'm transfered to another agent afterwards I get an email saying the account has been deleted so I was so lucky enough to recreate it again but the same information. I just got off the phone with the supervisor from The Resolution Team and I explained everything that's going on they're going to investigate it. this is unacceptable for these un- knowledgeable people to work for Bell (third party contractors as well) mess up people's accounts for no reason and without any knowing.

So from now on I encourage everyone to use bell's phone number and call in

I got so shocked when I got the email I thought I was screwed but luckily I still remember the account number in my head.

So if there's no reply after 3 minutes immediately disconnect the chat because that's when they want to prepare and do damage to your account unexpectedly.

its really nice about this too i had to make a new forum account with a new username because the agent deleted my entire account...
