Good Day,

I am not quite sure I fully understand your question. Which Bell app are you making reference to? Bell Fibe TV App or the MyBell App.

Which Bell TV service, package & device / receiver does he have & use to access Bell TV?

I do not believe having access to your Father in Law’s account via either app will achieve what you are striving to do. Which preferences do you wish to control for him?

You can also access Bell Fibe TV or MyBell using any web browser. This may be your simplest solution. If you are set up as an authorized contact on his account & have the appropriate log in credentials.

Bell Fibe TV App

You can only access & manage one TV service using the Bell Fibe TV app. In order to use the Fibe TV app, this service must also be linked to your MyBell account.

As an alternative, you can log out of one account & log in to another account with different credentials. This will allow you to make limited changes within the app.

MyBell App

In order to access the Bell TV Service using this app, it would need to be linked to your MyBell account.

As an alternative, you could log out of one account and back in with the proper authorized account credentials. This will give full access to the account, but little for his viewing preferences; unless you are referencing modifications to his TV package, etc.

If you need further assistance, please reach out once again.

Take care.

My wife needs to set up my Father in Law’s Bell app to manage his TV preferences with his blessing, from a distance as we don’t live near him and he is 80 years old. Can two accounts be created on one Bell app (ours and his) so we can switch between accounts as necessary?

As mentioned earlier, you can not access more than one one account on any of the Bell apps. This also applies as well if you are accessing Fibe TV : Log in - Fibe TV (bell.ca) or MyBell : Log in to MyBell web sites.

To gain access to his accounts, you would need to fully log out of your account & log back in with your Father in laws MyBell or My Account credentials & passwords.

Once completed, you would need to reverse this proess in order to return to your own account.

I do not believe having access to your Father in Law’s accounts will achieve what you are striving to do for him.

Take care.
