&lt;P&gt;With the amount of different variations of scams going around, it is possible that you may have been a victim of a scam attempt. We invite you to review the below details.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Remember, we will never send you a direct SMS/email regarding bill "corrections, credits etc." and will never direct you to click on a 3rd party website or send account info via SMS/email, etc. When in doubt, always play it safe and never click any link.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please forward the smishing attempt (if a suspicious SMS was received) to 7726 (SPAM), delete the SMS and block the number for your security.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you received a suspicious email, you can forward a copy of that email to&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;A href="mailto:abuse@bell.ca" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;abuse@bell.ca&lt;/A&gt;&lt;A href="mailto:abuse@bell.ca" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;&lt;IMG style="display: inline; padding-bottom: 5px;" src="https://stage-forum.bell.ca/html/assets/Accessiblity_Arrow.png?version=preview" border="0" alt="Opens in a new tab or window" /&gt;&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I tried to pay a $124 bill with a card. It was refused ( even though I always use it ) Minutes later Bell requested $5000 from my account. It was refused and my account frozen. You have someone in your system running a scam&lt;/P&gt;</description>
