Right now I am considering Ubiquity family products. However I saw on another forum that it is not possible to turn off Bell HHxxxx's WiFi. Is that correct?

Depends on the home hub version. I use a HH3000 and removed the GPON module and plugged it directly in my UDM Pro SE.

It completely bypasses the modem and I actually put it back in the box since I don't need it.

The HH4000 and higher does not have a removable GPON Module. Things are more complicated to bypass those. Not impossible, but I would not recommend it as it's not plug and play.

Thank you. Unfortunately I have the HH4000 and limited knowledge. I will keep looking for a hassle-free solution.

But I think this will be a good service Bell can offer. Some customers including myself are willing to pay for it because when you have teenagers, sleepovers, gatherings, you want to block some Port/Protocol you believe are being abused.

I hope this kind of service will be available in the near future.

Is that correct?

You are correct. WiFi can not be turned completely off in Bell modems, even if you turn the setting "Whole Home Wi-Fi" in the Manage my WiFi menu off. There are several dedicated WiFi channels in the modem, intended for Fibe TV, which remain on and broadcasting.
