You plug a standard Cat5e network cable into the network port and then into the PC if using it as a network extender. Or plug the network cable into one of the 1Gb ports on the modem to maximize pod speed.

Hi. Thnks for the reply. Yup, I thought it was as simple as that. yet, it didn't work. I tried logging into the modem and played with a ton aof settings. Modem said they saw them perfect..Then I tried the phone app. At least that app showed 3 of 4 were offline. Tried to TS them from there. No go,, Hence I came here. Broke down and called.. Turns out 3 of my Pods are FUBAR. They're sending 4 x Gen 2 this week. Merry Xmas

45 yrs Cable Tech and still get bogged down by crap!! LOL

Stuff happens, unfortunately. But it sounds like Bell is stepping up. I have had the pods for a couple of years. In my application, they work. The app is pretty reliable for diagnosis of issues, too.

Yes, you can. The pods have Ethernet jacks, unless they have been changed. Use a Cat6 network cable or better. When you plug the network cable into your computer, the computer will automatically recognize the jack and move off any wireless connection . If it does not, shut your wireless connection off and the Ethernet cone will appear in a few seconds. If your computer does not have an Ethernet jack, an easily available network adapter for your USB port will work perfectly.

Thank you for your question. Shut off any wireless connections on your computer. Connect the pod to modem with a new, Cat6 or better network cable. In Windows, any version, the Ethernet connection will be recognized on the task bar, replacing the wireless icon in the lower right near the date, in a few seconds. Run a speed test from your computer to confirm things.
