. i can access MS Exchange and get my email using hotspot from my phone but not on my home wifi. must be on 5G.

i can take my laptop to another site and us their wifi and i have not problem connecting. its seems that it is isolated to

my home hub and my house. does a factory refresh fix this?

alvin2

Thank you for your question. Do you have the same issue if your laptop is hard wired to the modem? If your phone works on wi-fi then your laptop should, as well. You could compare the settings to access the modem on your laptop and your phone to see if there are differences, first. If there are differences, change the settings to the same as the phone. A factory reset may or may not solve the issue, especially if the issue is confined to one specific connection.

Try a wired connection. WiFi might have isolation on by default.

I guess another question is where this server is located, because server applications on a home hub are typically not supported.

You would have to check with the IT department to see what Exchange setup they have, but I am assuming the issue is that certain ports are not opened in the firewall of the home hub.

A good start for what ports are required for MS Exchange is this page
