McAfee scan stuck at 18%

why is my mcafee full system scan taking so long and even files scanned is moving it is stuck at 18%

it takes around 8 hours to finish scan on roughly 150000 files before it took about 4 hours.

Could be because of a dirty volume, or other factors like a failing storage media.

If you are using Windows 10/11 I would run a check disc to make sure your storage medium does not have issues: disk check Windows 10/11

no errors found if it is mcafee to be fixed will bell support be able to fix it I called mcafee and they say bell is the one in charge of support
