All 4 yellow sockets are all LAN sockets. It does not matter which LAN socket you use as all 4 perform the same function.

I connected a receiver to it but the time displayed is 1 hour behind the correct time?

I would say offset for DST in the receiver settings. The LAN port just connects your receiver to the internet. Any time or other settings are part of your receiver setup.

Was this a wireless receiver prior to you connecting this to a LAN port?

All 4 of the yellow jacks on the back are all LAN ports that will allow you to directly connect either a Bell TV receiver, computer, access point, etc. using an Ethernet cable.

There is no time reset or change setting in a Bell Fibe receiver. If you are installing this for the first time, you should do a complete reboot of all of your equipment. This will update your modem & receivers & should resolve the time problem that you are experiencing

It is actually a discontinued Shaw receiver 630 that I am trying to use as a clock. I tried a reboot but no change.

Still an hour behind and is in the 24 hour format. Thank you for your time.

You might want to check here.

I am thinking it's going to be problematic to get this setup as it's equipment from a different provider and it sounds like it needs connectivity to their network for the time to be set.

It might be a better idea to just get a smart clock from Amazon for $25.

Thanks for your Amazon suggestion but buying a clock is not the idea here. It is the challenge.

The new Shaw and Bell, are from the same supplier now.

I may have more help when I receive the schematics

for the 630.
