Bell Hub YTP 222 Receiver

I looked at your page and found YTP 2262 has a different letter at the start, what is the difference it does not start with a Y like you specify. I have a computer with out wi-fi built in, can I hook it up with My 3000 Hub using a remote etc.

Can you please elaborate? Bell does have a HDR TV receiver VIP2262 that can connect to a Home Hub 3000 Hub either by ethernet cable or wireless. It is a Fibe TV receiver. It is not an access point per se for a Wi-Fi connection to a computer. Do you have Fibe TV?

Can you share with us just exactly what you are trying to achieve?

Thank you for getting back to Me so quickly. I do have HDR with a receiver with the T V there is a small box beside the receiver (PVR) that sends a signal to the Hub in the bedroom which houses the Router. The computer I am using is in the living room two rooms away from the router too far for an ethernet cable .It does not have the Wi-Fi software inside can I still use a remote Wi-Fi to pickup the signal from the main router. As I mentioned earlier, please provide us with the full details in terms of what you are trying to achieve & explain what the end result would be with the equipment that you are wishing to connect.

I can only surmise that the small box beside the receiver is either a VAP3400 or 3402. It is used to improve the signal strength between the Bell HH 3000 modem & your Bell Fibe TV VIP2262 receiver. It is a set-top wireless access bridge solution that delivers whole-home improved reach and coverage for Fibe TV.

If you wishing to improve your Internet Wi-Fi signal, then you will need to add Bell Wi-Fi Pods.

What are Whole Home Wi-Fi pods and how do I use them? : What are Wi-Fi pods?

If you want to add WiFi capabilities to a computer, a USB wifi card is the easiest way to do so.
