If you have a home hub 4000, you would need to use the 10G port, the router has to be capable of 2.5G on WAN and at least 1 LAN port, and your PC needs to be connected using a cat5 or higher cable to an ethernet adaptor that supports 2.5 G link speeds.

On a home hub 3000 it's not possible to get more than 1 Gbps using a LAN port on the home hub.

Link Aggregation for Giga Hub?

Hello everyone,

I'm using an ASUS router and I would like to connect it via link aggregation to the GigaHub and keep the 2.5gb port for my PC since it's the only way to receive 1.5gbps through the router, however I'm not being successful since I couldn't enable the option on the main router.

Any idea on how to do this please ?

Thanks for any help

Link aggregation is not supported on the home hubs. If you have a Home hub 4000, you can use the 10 gigabit port instead.

Any suggestion on how I can receive my full bandwidth in my computer without link aggregation on the Giga Hub using my ASUS as a main router?

Yeah thats the problem, my ASUS router has only one 2.5gb port.. link aggregation was my only option

You cannot do link aggregation with 1 port...

The 1.5 Gbps downstream is only achievable using both wired and wireless at the same time, as combined 1.5 Gbps.

It's not achievable directly from a wired connection. You could look into putting the GPON in something like a Mikrotik 5009 router. That will provide the full 1.5/1 on the 2.5 Gbps LAN port of the Mikrotik.
