If you are pairing them with an app, you typically need to have your phone on the same WiFi channel as the device.

I would look there as a starting point, as the home hub has multiple WiFi bands that unfortunately will all carry the same name.

You can do this to connect your Nest devices. Just be aware this will temporarily disable any WiFi pods from Bell should you use those.

Anyone have success setting up a 3-pack Google Nest Wifi Pro 6E with the Home Hub 3000?

It's fine for the main router which has the ethernet cable connected, but doesn't work for the 2 other routers that don't have the ethernet plugged in.

It fails during setup where it tries connecting to WiFi. Always a "Connection failed" error.

I've tried

- Setting the main Google router as a DMZ and advanced DMZ
- Setting the main Google router to use PPPoE instead of DHCP

Actually I just got it to work by using my iPad 11 (3rd gen) instead of my iPhone 13. With the Google Home App.

I recently switched to Bell, I for the life of me cannot get my Wireless Nest Products to connect. The screen shows pairing then says connection failed. Has anyone come across this and solved it?

much appreciated

Hey there @Pollock76

Thanks for reaching out to the Bell community.

What model modem are you using? Have you tried connecting your Nest devices using a different device to see if that resolves the issue? To further troubleshoot, please also try connecting via an Ethernet cable (if possible).

Keep the community posted,

Hello, the Nests are two years old atleast 2nd Gen. these are all wired wifi models. With Rogers they installed nonissues now I can’t even get them to appear. I was able to get 1 camera and the thermostat to connect but that was it. I don’t know if the modem has some type of firewall built in it but connection always fails when trying to pair them. My speed is supposed to be up too 1.5gb but we’re not even hitting 400mb. Not sure that could play a part. Thanks
