Good Day.

If you assign an Alias name to your devices, you will be able to distinguish between the who, what or where for all devices that have connected to your modem.

You can find out which devices are connected to your network by logging in to your modem. After logging in, Select > My devices. All of your connected devices will be listed on the Primary Wi-Fi. You can also choose to view all previously connected device & if you so desire, you can choose to forget any disconnected device that is no longer required.

With the My devices, Primary Wi-Fi window open, if you select a device using the pencil icon, you can assign an Alias name. This will allow you to distinguish between the devices. E.g. Tom's iPhone, Echo clock, Nest Thermostat, Samsung 4K TV, Den Firestick, etc., etc.

How to access the Connection Hub settings

The administrator password is used to access the modem’s settings.

Open your web browser and visit bell.ca/mymodem or 192.168.2.1.

Click on Modem preferences.

If prompted, enter the administrator password, Unless you’ve changed it, the password is the serial number located on the sticker on the back of the modem.

Type the current admin password in the Current password field.

Type a new password in the New password field.

Type the new password once more in the Confirm password field.

Click Save.

Here is a link that will show you how to manage your modem settings. Once you have logged in to your modem from the main screen, Home Network, you can choose to view your devices & any guest devices that are connected. You can also select from the My usage screen the specific usage for each device for the designated time period. You can restrict access via password selection for all of your devices & as well for guest devices.
