Thanks for jogging my memory. You stated that you cannot do an all encompassing search, but that is false. Try this, find the search field, hover over the little triangle to the right of the field, and you will see it pops "Advanced search pane". Click on the triangle. Enter search item field, and toggle "Folder" field, to "All Folders." Now the search result window shows the parsed directory field immediately under the date. The parsed field seems to only work for me in the advanced search, not in the local folder search like you described. Give it a try.

Using the search function in webmail no longer shows the path/folder for individual displayed queries. It used to show underneath the date field, but now, nothing. How do I get the path/fold back again? Using Win10 on PC.

Good Day.

I am not quite sure I follow the issue you are having with respect to the Bell webmail "Search" function.

Bell Webmail is browser specific & is structurally similar to Microsoft Windows 10 & 11. It does not do a "Search" perse by path & folder.

On the Mail tab, you must select the folder you want to search in.

Enter a search term. This can be a partial word, full word or words that may appear in the name, email address, subject or text of the email you want to find.

A drop-down menu will appear. If you want, you can choose to search only in the subject, mail text or people fields.

After you have entered the search term, press enter on your keyboard, or select the search icon. Emails that match will appear to the right of the folders.

Have you created individual folder in My Folders? Have you moved email messages from your Inbox to the sub folders in My Folders?

You cannot do an all-encompassing "Search" in My Folders. To view your sub folder, select > My Folders. You must choose the sub folder within My Folders and then enter the specific search criteria.

How to use the search function in Bell Mail : Searching for email messages

Take care.

Good Day.

That is correct. You can do a full search by selecting the Advanced search providing you choose All folders from within the Inbox folder. Select the Advanced search from within your Inbox. Scroll down > Select > All folders & enter the appropriate search criteria entry. You will need to clear this after each search request in order continue on with any further searches you might wish to make.

As I mentioned in my previous reply, "I am not quite sure I follow the issue you are having with respect to the Bell webmail "Search" function."

You cannot do all encompassing search from within main My Folders. You would need to select a sub-folder in order to bypass the Advanced search from the Inbox to All folders. You would then select > Search within the sub-folder to find the email, info, etc. requested in your sub-folder search.

Thank you for your input & feedback. More than glad to have been of assistance.

Take care.
