Thank you for your question. Instead of forcing the modem to operate only on 6 Ghz, you might try setting your devices to connect only with 6 or 6e. In Apple's iOS 26, for example, Settings ==> Wi-Fi ==> Select Modem BELLNNN ==> Info allows you to toggle Wi-Fi 6E Mode between Manual and Automatic. This setting allows the device to choose the best Wi-Fi channel that may or may not be 6E. This is also on a 6 or 6E capable device such as the iPhone 15 Pro or higher. Other 6E capable devices may have similar configuration options. You may also find some assistance in this forum thread under helpful replies with a green check mark.

That will cause freezing of the modem menu if let's say your Iphone is connected to WiFi 5 Ghz and you turn the 5 Ghz band off since your Iphone will not be able to connect to WiFi 5 Ghz band anymore.

I am not sure what Iphone you have, but I am pretty sure you are disconnecting yourself.

In order to use WiFi 6 all your devices have to support connecting to WiFi6, and you have to have them connected to WiFi6 prior to turning all the other bands off.

Technically speaking there's no reason to turn any of them off, so I would leave it like that unless you have a specific reason to turn them off?
