Thanks for the info about Bell WiFi + Guard… but it seems out of date.

The Bell WiFi Guard tab (actually icon) only shows the ability to enable/disable 3 protection features and delete Guard events. No ability to view events or create rules. Guard does not currently reflect the documentation for URL domain blocking.

I have noticed many Bell “how to”s are out of date or reflect features no longer available or moved.

I am trying to block a few domain names from all local network devices. There doesn’t seem to be anywhere to do this on the Bell router.

Specifically I want to block my smart tv from tracking, updates and ads. I would rather do it by name and not IP.

If I blocked the smart tv itself, none of the internet apps would work e.g. Spotify.

Solved … as @WelshTerrier Terrier stated …

To the best of my knowledge, Bell does not offer any kind of service such as you are seeking.

Since Bell WiFi Guard no longer supports event rule creation for URL domain blocking (despite documentation claim) I moved all local devices to my own router attached to the Bell router. Now I can create rules to block domain names.
