Good Day & Welcome.

Thank you for posting your question.

I can only surmise that the reason your previous Wi-Fi name is showing up is due to the fact that you have not deleted your previous Wi-Fi network connection from your devices. You can easily edit or remove known Wi-Fi networks from within your device Wi-Fi connection settings.

To connect to your modem Wi-Fi network at your new location, you should first confirm that your modem is connected to the Bell Internet network.

To find or change your Wi-Fi name and password through the Bell Wi-Fi app

First, you’ll need to download and open the Bell Wi-Fi app.

Finding your Wi-Fi password

Open the Bell Wi-Fi app and log in with your MyBell username and password

On the top of the Adapt screen, touch the hidden Wi-Fi password. The existing password is shown.

Changing your Wi-Fi name and/or password

Open the Bell Wi-Fi app and log in with your MyBell username and password

On the Adapt section of the home screen, touch the settings (gear) icon.

To rename your network, touch the Pencil icon, enter a name and then touch Done.

To change your Wi-Fi password, touch the three stacked dots beside your hidden Wi-Fi password.

Touch Edit to change the password.

Touch Done and then Update once you have confirmed the new Wi-Fi password.

Try to connect to your Wi-Fi network using this password.

If you are unsure of and or you have forgotten the Wi-Fi network name or password on your new modem, you can easily recover both by following the instructions provided in these weblinks:

Bell Internet User names & Passwords: Managing your Wi-Fi Network

Managing your Modem Settings

Let us know if you require further assistance.
Take care.

Internet name not showing on my devices

I had my internet suspended while I didn't need it. Last week I took it off suspension and arranged for a tech to come out to my new address, with a new modem. (Giga) The bell wifi app says the modem is working and has a good signal. The trouble shooting bot they use at night cant find any issues. Why is the "name" of my old, non existent modem showing up on my devices and not the new modem? I cant find my modem to connect with it. What happened to the good old days when the tech stayed and made sure the service was working before leaving? The fact that the tech only removed the modem from the box, connected 2 wires, plugged it in and literally left it dangling by a cord on the wall and left blew me away! Does anyone know where my internet is hiding?
