How can I reset the modem's log without resetting the modem to its original state? Home Hub 3000.

I don't think you can reset the log as a separate task.

What's the earliest date on your log? Are events from Day 1 of the in-service date still on it?

It contains tens of thousands of entries for the past three months, plus a number of entrees from 2012 and 2013. Those appear to be fossils that are burned into the firmware, since resetting the modem leaves them there.

My HH4000 log's earliest entry begins mid-November 2021, which is several weeks after the installation.

Hey @cm. Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to the Community.

@ZaneP is right in this case. You cannot reset the logs as a separate task. A hard reset will also return the modem to its default state.
