      <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't think you can reset the log as a separate task.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What's the earliest date on your log? Are events from Day 1 of the in-service date still on it?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It contains tens of thousands of entries for the past three months, plus a number of entrees from 2012 and 2013. Those appear to be fossils that are burned into the firmware, since resetting the modem leaves them there.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://forum.bell.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/887"&gt;@ZaneP&lt;/a&gt; is right in this case. You cannot reset the logs as a separate task. A hard reset&amp;nbsp;will also return the modem to its&amp;nbsp;default state.&lt;/P&gt;
