Hi,

Does anyone know if you can paint a Bell internet receiver box? The box is white but my house is in a forested area and I want it to blend in the with surroundings. Would there be any harm to signal reception or any other issues if I painted it black? Thanks!

Are you serious? I assume you are referencing the white modem as it is the only box that I know that is made with a white plastic cover.

Just remember one little word of wisdom, you couldl be billed for the box when you disconnect, move or if by chance it is damaged while you paint it black? Is it really worth a color change?

I will leave this with you..........

Minimum receiver replacement is: $199.00 - $599.00 + HST!

The OP may be referring to the square Bell Wireless Home Internet antenna. I see them all over rural Ontario. Your point about possible damage to Bell equipment is well taken, however.

The original question was related : "if you can paint a Bell internet receiver box."

No, you can not paint your modem! If you do & there is a problem and or it needs to be replaced or returned for whatever reason, you will in all likelihood be bill for the damage.

If you want a definitive answer, maybe you should call Bell with the specifics & exact details of just what you plan on doing.

If it is something you own, by all means you can paint it whatever color you want.

No, you can't. Bell-provided equipment is Bell's property, with a few exceptions.
