Hi.

In the past few days all my pods now start flashing green for some minutes in the middle of the night. They flash for like 5 minutes maybe and suddenly stop. I have them for almost two years and it's a new thing.

Is there something I can/need to do? My only concern is the green light blinking in our dark bedroom. 🙂

Thank you,

Luiz

Blue flashing lights on the pods mean the network is checking itself to find where the best signal is needed. Normally there is no light during operation. Use the Bell Wi-Fi app to see more about your network. See here also.

https://support.bell.ca/internet/connection-help/what_are_whole_home_wi-fi_pods_and_how_do_i_use_them#INT=Search_SearchResults_TitleLink

The pods are made by Plume. Depending on the generation of pod, the flashing can mean different things. A chart from Plume says what they mean. For blue flashing lights, not much, it appears. If it bothers anyone, tape it over.

https://wpsupport.plume.com/s/article/What-does-the-LED-light-on-my-pod-mean?language=en_US

Good Day & Welcome

A white light off, on a Bell Wi-Fi Pod, usually means it's connected and working normally. The light only appears (often pulsing or solid) during startup/connection, then turns off when successfully joined to your network.

The lights on Bell Wi-Fi Pods indicate their operational status. Here’s what different light signals mean:

Blue Light

Flashing Blue: The pod is checking the network to find the best signal. This is a normal operation mode.

Initial Connection: When first plugged in, the light may appear blue-green for about 8-9 seconds.

Green Light

Flashing Green: This indicates that the pod is optimizing the network. This process usually lasts 2-3 minutes and may occur after changes in the environment or during the night.

Continuous Green: If the light is solid green, it typically means the pod is connected and functioning properly.

No Light

No Light at All: If there is no light when the pod is plugged in, check the power outlet. It may indicate a power issue or a faulty pod.

Additional Notes

The light is usually off during normal operation, indicating that the pod is connected and working correctly.

For more detailed information about your network, you can use the Bell Wi-Fi app.
