I am sure eth100 is a 10 gig ethernet port. Easiest way to setup VLAN is use an external router or level2/3 switch that supports VLAN and use 1 ethernet (yellow) port as WAN (uplink) connection for your router.

Then put the fibe tv box on another (yellow) LAN port on the modem or the wireless network of the modem. Leave DHCP enabled at the modem.

This will use double NAT, but there should not be an issue with that. Ensure not to have overlapping IP ranges for any other DHCP services on your network.

I am trying to advise a friend who has this router.

I want to get to the main internet so I can use a managed switch to create two Vlans. One Vlan to do the normal household network using an external router, and the other to feed to a building at this farm where internet that is disociated from the home network can be used. If there was a way to use the excellent router built into the Giga Hub and get a VLan feed out of it, well, problem solved.

I have done a fair bit of reading and I understand that once you disable the DCHP of the router, the Fibe TV no longer connects.

Is there an easy enough way to get Fibe TV and a direct line to the internet so I can distribute it in a way that I can't with the GigaHub? Was hoping the ETH100 connector may be part of the solution as I am not sure why it would be labeled differently than the Lan1-4 ports.

If only there was a real manual for this device, maybe I could figure it out. Cant find that. Maybe someone has a link to find more abouit GigaHub.

Thanks
