      <description>&lt;P&gt;A family member was upgraded to Bell Fibe and got a new Giga Hub.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;None of their Google speakers worked. I factory reset one and tried to add it. The network can see it but can't connect it in the final step. The Google Home app told me to disable AP isolation on the modem. I couldn't find it in the model settings. I did disable Manage Entire Home but that didn't change anything. Has anyone else encountered this?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Can you share the make/model of the speakers?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;A great first step would be to reboot all of the speakers &amp;amp; uninstall/re-install the Google Home App to see if that makes any difference.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Yes, but it was almost a year ago, so I forget exactly what I did. I believe the key was d&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;isabling 'let bell optimize wifi throughout your home'. I then had to factory reset all the devices but I believe they were able to connect at 2.4 GHz after that.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi there,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am experiencing the exact same issue.&amp;nbsp; Upgraded and have the Bell Gigahub router.&amp;nbsp; Cannot connect any of my Google devices to it (Google Nest Mini) as I get an error that says the following:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"Connect to same Wi-Fi: Your Nest Mini was setup successfully but can't be found. Make sure your mobile device and Nest Mini are on the same Wi-Fi network.&amp;nbsp; Turn off AP isolation: If AP isolation is enabled on your Wi-Fi router, you will need to disable it."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Both my Nest Mini and my phone are on the same wifi network. I cannot find a way to disable "AP Isolation" in the router settings. We have called Bell and no one seems to know what we're talking about.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Would really appreciate some help as we currently cannot use our Google devices with our new internet.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Katherine&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;After about 5 hours of trying, changing all the settings with Bell on the line and then changing them all back when that was no help, magically one last attempt and my chromecast was live... 2 more attempts and my google home. So frustrating and confusing but at least they're both working now.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I've read several threads where no one answers this question just the same runaround.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My parents just had a Bell Giga router installed and now the Google speakers won't connect. The final step in the setup process is "Disable AP Isolation on your router".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How Bell? Yes I have reset, reinstalled, tethered, unplugged, moved etc.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hoping to have an actual answer on this someday soon.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have tried literally everything possible in order to "disable AP isolation".&amp;nbsp; I've even gone in to every advanced router setting and nothing gives me that option or anything similar.&amp;nbsp; Bell still hasn't even responded in this forum and we've also called multiple times and visited a physical store and no one seems to even understand our issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately we ended up switching from Bell entirely since we could never get any help! Can't say we didn't try!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My only suggestion at this point is to switch providers as we have the same if not faster internet now and not a single issue connecting our Google homes/hubs!!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas/holiday season and fingers crossed you get some answers about this issue!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

In order to resolve this issue, you need to disable Access Point (AP)&amp;nbsp;isolation, also known as "Client Isolation"&amp;nbsp;or "Guest Mode,"&amp;nbsp;on your router. So, if you can find the guest mode setting and disable it, that might fix the issue.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Here's what stood out:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;- Whole home Wi-Fi is turned off&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;- No guest network&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;- Wi-Fi is split into 3 bands, 2.4GHz was named differently (because of this, I did not unsplit them afterwards)&lt;BR /&gt;- I connected to the 2.4 network when I setup the google devices (Home and Mini)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hope this helps!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Here I am in 2024 and this problem obviously hasn't been solved. Going through this right now and it's incredibly annoying. Here is what is (kinda) working:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&amp;nbsp;go to 192.168.2.1 and click on "manage my wifi"&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;type in the admin password (mine was written on the little sticker with the wifi network name and password)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;turn off "whole home wifi" and save&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;click through to "advanced settings", unclick the "keep a common network name (SSID) and password across all bands" box, rename the 5.0 GHz band by adding "-5G" or whatever. keep the 2.4 GHz band the original name. I turned off the 6.0 GHz band entirely because none of my devices could see it anyway, but you could rename that too. leave all the passwords the same.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;make sure your phone is connected to the 2.5 GHz network. open the Google Home app&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;go sit next to a google home device, do a factory reset (&lt;A href="https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7073477?sjid=11568000900286548691-NA#" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7073477&lt;/A&gt;) and wait for the thing to reboot and give the standard welcome message&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;while waiting, remove that device from the google home app&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;go through the whole setup process for the device as if you were adding it for the first time. choose the wifi network your phone is connected to (the 2.4 one that you kept with the original name). if the wifi connection fails the first time, hit "try again" because it will sometimes work the second time around&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;repeat the above process for every google or IOT device in your home, while cursing yourself for doing this router "upgrade" that has been nothing but a huge inconvenience&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;eventually I think the idea is you should be able to go back in to the router and reset all the networks back to the same name and turn "whole home wifi" back on so you can use your pods and wifi app and whatnot again, haven't got to that step yet&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It has to be something with the Home hub WiFi. I use a separate AP connected at one point to a HH 3000, that is WiFi 6 and also supports up to WPA3, and I can connect all my devices to it without any issues.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It has a mixture of 2.4, 5 and 6 Ghz devices, all under a single SSID name. Works without any issues on all 3 bands at the same time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would highly recommend going that route as it makes your complete WiFi setup provider independent, so if you ever switch providers your whole WiFi network in unaffected. The AP just sits on the tv stand tucked away behind my tv, and provides WiFi throughout my whole home.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
