Brand new watch constantly dies

I just received a brand new watch a week ago and have been needing to charge it twice a day most days. I wear it to bed to track sleep also. Is there anything I can do to make the battery last longer or is the battery maybe faulty? Any advice is appreciated

Thank you for your concern. You do not say what make of watch you have. I encourage you to visit the watch manufacturer's support web site and look for information on how to maximize battery life.
