Thank you for your questions. Unfortunately, as a peer to peer forum, we have no access to information on the status of Bell's repair and expansion of services such as you are experiencing. Bell does not usually make that information public. The use of Wi-Fi calling, as noted in the helpful reply with the green checkmark, would be your only option for a cell signal in your home.

Wi-Fi Calling

Wi-Fi Calling Feature | Bell Mobility | Bell Canada

Wi-Fi Calling Q&A

I have questions about using Wi-Fi Calling : Coverage (bell.ca)

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.

Based on the detail you have provided, there is little that can be done to improve your signal. There is no booster per se to improve your cellular signal.

There is a work around however that may be able to solve your cellular signal loss. Have you tried to use Wi-Fi calling? If you have Internet service, you can use your Wi-Fi network to connect to your cellular service.

The following link will explain everything that you need to know about Wi-Fi Calling. It is a free feature that can be accessed from anywhere in Canada just as long as you have a Wi-Fi network connection. It is easy to install.

Connect to a Wi-Fi network.

Turn the option on in your phone settings. (No need to turn it off.)

You are now set up & ready to place & receive your cellular calls.

Note: There are a number of reasons you may not be unable to activate Wi-Fi Calling. Please reference the FAQs in the attached Q&A.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Take care.

Hello. I live just outside of Fort Frances, ON (Rainy River District, west of Thunder Bay). Cell signal strength with Bell has diminished significantly, to the point where we have ported some of our lines over to another carrier. Is there someone who can advise when improvements will be made to the towers? I know that the water tower where Bell has transmitters is being refurbished however would like to get cell signal at my home. We get hardly anything right now.
