So what you have is that iMessage and FaceTime are using both your phone number and your Apple ID as contact methods.

To separate them, in your phone #1, go to settings > apps > messages. In the option “Send and Receive” - remove check mark from your apple ID. Leave the check mark on the on just the phone number. Then go to settings > apps > FaceTime. In the option “you can be reached” remove check mark from your Apple ID. Just leave the check mark on the phone number. So you phone # 1 will only get messages and FaceTime to the number.

So on the Phone#2, go to the same settings and make sure they have check marks on the number and no checks on Apple ID. So then your phone #2 will only get calls and messages sent to its number.

bigvee-TO

I recently got a 2nd line from Bell - text and talk only.

I used the same Apple ID and password for both phones.

Now I am seeing dupe texts and phone calls on both phones.

How do I decouple the 2 phones without losing the access to the icloud account on both.

Thanks
