&lt;P&gt;If 5G is buffering at 1080p, the tower you are connected to might be congested. Paradoxically, switching your phone's settings to LTE (4G) can sometimes provide a more stable, less crowded connection that handles HD video better.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please share with the community the troubleshooting steps you have tried so far and provide the following details:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Is this occurring in one specific location and/or everywhere and is it occurring indoors and/or outdoors?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;What is the make and model of your phone?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Does the issue only occur while attempting to watch a YouTube video?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Is your phone and apps updated to their latest versions?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Does the same thing happen when connected via Wi-Fi?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;How many signal bars appear on your screen when this is occurring?&lt;/LI&gt;
