topic Available Roaming Bundles on Self-Serve in Mobility

Used bell self serve to choose option for roaming on a recent trip to Aruba. After clicking the destination I was given 3 options: 1. International pass 14 day $100 2. international pass 30 days $110 3. Roam better with home data ($16/day)

I opted for the international 14 day for $100 on two phones. Today I went to add a roaming package for another phone (similar destination) and see another less expensive option: Carribean-Mexico 14 day pass for $70

That option was not there both times I'd looked on March 17 & 18 otherwise I would have chosen it as it's a lot cheaper. I called the support line and the rep basically told me sorry but he can't do anything about it. Nor could his supervisor and I should call to get these things put on our accounts instead of using self serve. Is this just the way Bell is now? Too bad, sorry? Any thoughts about escalation or should I just eat the $60 extra charge and let it be? Thanks!

Good Day & Welcome.

Thank you reaching out to the Bell Community Forum.

This is a peer-to-peer website. As such, we do not have access to your account & billing records. We are unable to to provide assistance in billing matters such as this.

Unfortunately, I cannot comment on what was there or not there when you selected your travel pass. I do know that the Caribbean and Mexico 14-Day - $70.00/14 days, is not something new. It has been & is still available as a travel pass choice.

Bell Travel Passes (such as the 14-day or 365-day passes) are generally non-refundable once activated. These prepaid passes activate immediately upon purchase and are not eligible for a refund, even if unused. You should verify your travel pass & coverage prior to purchase. Make sure you add the pass the day your trip starts, before you arrive.

I have included the Bell Coverage Map & Travel options weblink as shown on the Bell website:

Coverage Map & Travel Options | Bell Mobility | Bell Canada

If you wish to pursue this further, you are going to need to contact:

Bell Mobility Customer Service at: 1-800-667-0123 or by dialing *611 from any Bell mobile device.

I wish there was something else I could do for you, but there is not.

Take care.
