Roam Better - only needing SMS, no data usage planned

A quick question about roam better. I do not use data, just want to receive text messages. Will I still get charged? My plan says unlimited CAN-US Text message.

Can-US text or Can/US/Int Messaging on Bell Mobility means your plan includes unlimited text messaging from Canada to Canada/U.S. numbers - this does not include texting from the US or other international destinations.

However, Bell does regularly offer Canada/US plans, intended for those who frequently visit the US. These plans do provide full roaming coverage while in the US, as well as coverage for calling or texting US based numbers.

Keep in mind that while outside of Canada, if your mobile device connects & uses data for any other reason, you will be charged a daily Roaming fee.

In order to fully answer your question we would need for you to provide us with the full details of what is included in your mobility plan. Please check your Bell mobility agreement.
