my cellphone "phone app" notifications disabled?

Hi, i recently ported my phone number to Bell,(i have an android Pixel) for some reason i can control all app notification settings except for 'phone app' notification settings which i assume is locked by my carrier provider Bell. I keep getting phone voice-mail notification message every week from Bell,that appear on my home-screen! the notifications i cannot clear or turn off, since i cannot control the main phone app notification slide-bar (to slide phone notifications to OFF or change phone call sub-notifications, such as the voicemail notifications to OFF). Even though i unsubscribed from voicemail service, i am not sure why Bell is sending me voicemail notifications? Personally, or me voice mail is not needed since i communicate using text messaging and i do not want to let spammers the chance to leave voice spam messages or obtain my name left on the voicemail message.

Thanks for the details provided.

In the instance that you're still receiving voicemail notifications, it bring to believe that it is still included in your plan. Have you verified your plans features on My Bell to make sure it was removed?
