I just bought my monthly 20GB plan 3 days ago and it already says I am almost reaching the limit. I think it is physically impossible to use this much data in 3 days. Is there some way you can look into this?

Thank you

Are you streaming any shows or movies? Standard definition is around 400MB an hour while HD is anywhere from 1GB to 3GB+ per hour.

It is not physically impossible to use that much data in 3 days. Just the opposite. May I suggest that you have a look at your device Settings > Cellular. Each manufacture has similar setting. They might be slightly different, but all of them have settings to control your data usage.

I will use an Apple device as an example only. Go to Settings > Cellular. You can view all of your Apps by Name & by Usage You will see exactly what is using your data. You can decide what to turn or turn off.

You can also reset the Statistics & track on a going forward basis.

Have a look at your Software Update. Go to Settings > General > Software Update > Automatic Updates. You do not want to iOS updates cellular data.

Are you updating your Apps using cellular data or Wi-Fi?

Have you checked your TV, Video, Music & streaming App settings? Standard vs. Best Video quality. Video settings? Downloads? Photos & picture sending & receiving?

I could go on & on. You need to become completely familiar with your device settings & make a conscious decision on which apps will be using cellular data.

Thank you for reaching out to the Bell Community Forum.

Take care.
