S21FE Dual sim tray upgrade?

I understand that the S21FE 5G only has 1 physical sim card slot in Canada.

When I shine my flashlight inside the sim tray slot I can see contacts on the top and bottom, implying that there is a physical connection for a dual sim tray on the Canadian version??

On the single sim tray it does say SIM1 but there is no slot for a sim card on the back.

Will it be possible to install a physical dual sim tray in the future?

Would it function or would it require an additional software update?

Great question.

The S21 FE 5G does not support Dual SIM. However, the S21 5G, S21+ 5G and S21 Ultra do. You can see all Dual SIM/eSIM compatible phones at What are Dual SIM and eSIM? How do I use them?
