To confirm before I mess up: I have an iPhone 15; I have a Bell mobile monthly account/number; a have a physical Bell sim card for my mobile number; I am considering shifting to esim to free up the physical sim slot for a second European line; my phone shoes a "Convert to eSIM" function; Can I convert using this function without losing any functionality or data (text, WhatsApp, etc) associated with the number? Thank you.

Good morning, @GT800. Welcome to the Bell Community, and thanks for your post.

Yes, all your personal data and info will carry over just fine. Personal data such as WhatsApp are linked to your phone number, which would remain the same upon switching from a physical SIM to eSIM. Take a look at our Support page on "What are Dual SIM and eSIM?" and scroll down to eSIM and Dual SIM FAQs for iPhone for more details.

Note: Apple eSIM Quick Transfer is not supported in Canada as of this time.

Let us know if you have any further questions. 🙂
