I would like all inbound SMS messages sent to my phone to also be sent to an email address. I know there is an email address for my texts -- [my-number]@txt.bell.net. Is there a way to have that email address forward to another one, or to rig a mail service to check that "inbox" periodically?

(Edit) A way to see SMSes sent to the phone online would work equally well, if there's a way to do that.

Good Day.
You can try to use third-party apps for Android devices on Google Play.

Apple
Unfortunately it is not possible to automatically forward SMS to emails on iPhones due to a technical limitation from Apple.

Android
If you go to Google Play right now, you'll find many apps for SMS forwarding. E.g. SMS forwarder, ForwardSMS, Chomp SMS, etc. The most popular one is the SMS forwarder. This is an app that can synchronize SMS or Notification between multiple devices(PC, Phone). Are all of them safe, secure & do they do what you want them to do?

I can not recommend one app over another. I can only suggest that “Caution be the Better part of Valour!” This could present an additional personal security risk.

Take carel
