I had notifications set up asking to be notified at 75%, 90%, 100%. I received no notification at 75% and when I spoke to someone at Bell, she told me “Technically, we only send notifications when you reach 95%”. So I don’t know why they give the option of 75% if it doesn’t exist. Great Bell service as usual.

I have gone over my 1GB data limit a couple of times now. I added an app that had background refresh enabled and didn't realize it. I got the 95% data used message (5 days into my plan) and by that point it's too late and I've already incurred an overage charge. Is there a way to customize the notifications so I get additional data usage messages at say 50% and 75%? This way I could avoid these overage charges I can't afford.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.

You can further adjust data notifications by logging in to your MyBell web account. Select > My profile. Select > MyBell profile. Scroll down > to Mobility Service profile & select. Scroll down the right side of the page until you reach the Usage notifications section & select > Edit. You can now decide on when and how you receive your usage notifications. E.g. 75%, 90% or 100%. Email & Online in your browser.

Take care.
