Good Day.

Can you please provide me with some details? What are you currently using to access you Home phone service today?

If you have access to the wiring, you may find that all of the jacks are wired together at a common connecting point or are looped together to a demarcation point. If this is the case, this needs to be connected to your modem telephone jack.

Your home phone service must connect to the telephone port on the Bell modem.

If you are using cordless phones throughout your home, the main base unit must connect to a jack. This jack must connect directly or indirectly to the modem. The remaining devices will connect wirelessly & do not require jacks.

If you have 5 non-wireless telephones that are now using 5 jacks, they must all connect to the modem. The wiring for these jacks does not necessarily need to go directly to the modem. The wiring can loop from jack to jack, connecting block, bridge module, demarcation point, etc. When looped together, there will only be one connection to the modem.

Thank you for posting your question.

Take care.
