topic From a Canadian landline, how to call a Canadian mobile that’s in China? in Home phone

I have a Bell Home phone plan that’s a landline and just activated the Worldwide Unlimited long distance calling plan. Link here

I’m getting some conflicting information from different sources and a Bell agent said that this needs to be done “properly” to avoid incurring extra costs even though this is an unlimited plan? Anyway, my question is the following:

From my Canadian landline, under the Wordwide Unlimited guidelines, what would I dial to call a Canadian mobile number that’s in China? And what would they dial to reach me?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Good Day & Welcome

Worldwide Unlimited package is available to residential customers where access and technology permit. It includes unlimited long distance calling to over 70 countries around the world. It applies to direct-dialed outbound calls only. It is available to customers who continuously subscribe to Bell Home phone.

To call a Canadian mobile number in China from a Bell Home phone landline, dial 011, followed by the country code for China (86), and then the Canadian mobile number. Dialing would look like: 011-86-1-XXX-XXX-XXXX.

To call Canada from China, dial the China exit code 00, then the Canada country code 1, followed by the Canadian area code and the local number. For example, to call a number in Toronto, you would dial: 00-1-416-XXX-XXXX.

Please refer to the following Home phone - Worldwide Unlimited Rates & Countries

Home Phone - Worldwide Unlimited

Long distance & International long distance plans | Bell Canada

Thank you for posting your question.

Take care.
