Crashes back to guide

I’m using the Fibe TV app on a firestick and I can’t watch any channel without it stopping/ crashing and continuously going back to the Guide. I’ve cleared the cache and data on the firestick, uninstalled/ installed the Fibe TV app, and restarted the firestick with no luck. I also reduced the speed to Best. No luck. Any advice? I also have the app on my Apple TV and have no issues

How old is your fire stick? Does it have rooting access or some other modification?

I bought it last year, it's a Fire TV Stick 4K and it hasn't been modified at all, no rooting access.

Do you see an error message, and can you share a screen shot with the Community?

Does this only affect live TV, or does it happen while watching On Demand/recorded content? Please also let us know which show/channel.

I have been having the same issues, really annoying when watching and it crashes back to guide 20 times. It seems to have stopped and here is what I think stopped it. I recently purchased a new home theater receiver that has HDMI capability. In doing so I stopped using my bell satellite receiver, a few days later my fire stick started crashing while on the bell app. I recently turned on my satellite receiver, it updated it's firmware and programming. Ever since that, the fire stick has not crashed once. Hope this helps you.
