Bell Streamer - remote has window stuck on screen

The Bell Streamer is connected to a TV and is working with one key exception.

In the upper right of the TV screen there is a window pop-up stuck there:

'Remote control update

We are updating your Bell Streamer remote control. This will only take a few seconds.'

This has been present for days, found no way to close it. Other than that remote/streamer works without issue.

Have you tried unplug your device from the power source & rebooting it? Batteries okay? No signal issues?
