Control soundbar volume with VIP7802 Voice Remote

I recently installed a sound bar using the Optical outlet on my Samsung TV.

The Bell remote does not control the volume or mute.

I have to use the Bose remote.

Any suggestions?

Are you able to share which television service you subscribe, receiver model and what remote you have?

Service is Bell Fibe, receiver is Arris 7802 and remote is Voice.

The Voice Remote is only able to be paired with the VIP7802 and possibly your television if compatible (to control the volume and power). It can not be paired to a soundbar.
