    <description>&lt;P&gt;Personally, I would escalate this due to inadequate documentation tree for front line staff and not trained to check forum or even suggest that you do.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This mindless useless solution has been resolved on this forum market as the solution by Richard since early 2023 and the solution was known and recommended earlier than that.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I started an escalation to executive and had an excellent conversation, but she acknowledged that after a long call, where i ripped a stripe off Bell's lack of initiative to update their troubleshooting trees for support and on virtual repair tool. We had an excellent politely conversation where I&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;politely told her&amp;nbsp; about my own history of this issue and other lack of support on the box upgrade, and that Bell support and documentation teams had given no directive to update any documentation on this remote issue and the dump of the new user interface update with basically no documentation except how to reset favourites and a few other personal options.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;She informed me that she was on the wrong team and advised me that both the accessability centre and the appropriate support team executive would contact me.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I left that call which took every ounce of energy to be polite because it wasn't her fault.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I proceeded to have a full PTSD meltdown as I was going through significant physical health and family health issues. I should never have tried to take on the escalation of this issue as it was the last straw, but 8 was trying to get control over something. That was in December and I advised that as a result of the inept lack ofresponses to customer solutions on the forum that could save time money and patience of all involved, I was in the middle of a full blown relapse of PTSD and I would get back. Telling this story is part of my need to understand and communicate the roles in this crisis including the awareness that much is out of my control. Lots of calls to distress lines and 988 crisis suicide prevention lines.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I do hope bell gets it support and documentation act together because over a 1000 posts on various issues with this box show the complete irresponsibility of the bell senior implementation teams to proactively create documentation and allow staff to effectively support us in using our bell designed services. Whether they paid for it or did it internally it is their responsibility to provide quality support and support their front line staff and automated solutions with current proven solutions from the forum.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have three remotes in my drawer plus the last one all replaced after this error message and fortunately the solution was found by us the members of this forum and well documented.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My advise escalate and advise them to read the forum solutions and discussion on the forum, and to imagine the frustration that poor support has created. I am still to triggered by poor customer support in general by many large corporations while they cut staff and internal support and automated decisions and tests when you can't automate lack of information or erroneous information.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ask for your money back at a minimum.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://support.bell.ca/resolve-a-concern" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.bell.ca/resolve-a-concern&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Feel free to direct them to this post as an extreme example of poor documentation and resulting errors in solutions&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://support.bell.ca/resolve-a-concern" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.bell.ca/resolve-a-concern&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for listening. I haven't seen this error since the update, but you did unless per chance you haven't got it yet.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Even so you deserve to get your money back.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Possibly &lt;a href="https://forum.bell.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/191"&gt;@BellPatricia&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;and or the others at the manager moderator levels can DM you and take this refund on for you like they do streamer special orders for remotes and hopefully get higher level support to read solutions or at least train support to search the forum.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can only hope.       <title>Voice Remote "Oops, this remote is not paired with your receiver." Error code 2000</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Accessing Support | Remote Settings on the TV menu always brings up an error page. If you select "Try Again" it just goes back to the Support menu. I talked to technical support yesterday because for one TV, the Bell Fibe Voice remote was working okay, turning it on/off, volume, etc., but for the other it wasn't. The support person thought it might be an issue with the remote, and will send a new one, but when I tried the same with the TV where the remote works, the same error shows up. It briefly shows a message regarding Bluetooth, which I don't think the Bell Fibe Voice remote has, so maybe it's a problem with the interface itself?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just had a new install done.&amp;nbsp; The latest Slim Voice Remote will not Pair with my LG Nano90 UNA TV.&amp;nbsp; I was sent another remote and it's the same issue.&amp;nbsp; When I run the Settings/Support/Remote Settings as told I get an error screen saying "Oops remote not paired with receiver".&amp;nbsp; But it is as the channels change, etc... I can't get to the setup screen per the instructions.&amp;nbsp; It's done the same with both remotes.&amp;nbsp; Limited info for troubleshooting this remote so hopefully someone can help soon.&amp;nbsp; Frustrating for 3 days now with my new Bell system.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please don't send me to a online sources - they don't work.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So that people who have the same problem don't have to search around so much: On the Bell TV box is a button on the left side. Press that and it brings up a menu, one of the options is unpair/pair and that might work, but what worked for me, Alan, and PhilU is to do a factory reset (one of the options). After that, there should be instructions on the Bell modem on what to do next. Then it will run through the procedure to set up the remote. The root issue is that the installation technicians just skip over that setup step, and you're stuck with a partially functioning remote.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you Russell. Like many others I had a problem and Bell sent me a new remote that was of no assistance at all. Their technician on the phone told me to do a soft reset using the play and home buttons and that was of no use as well. Your suggestion to do a reboot of the receiver by using the left side button has corrected the issue completely. It's a shame that Bell does not train it's technical staff in a more thorough way that would allow them to do their job and not force the customer to do Bell's work.&amp;nbsp; Like you, I would recommend that anyone having problems with bell five Voice remote that they simply follow your instructions and not waste time waiting in line for a bell rep to Simply send you another remote. Thank you for your help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;OMG!!!&amp;nbsp; OMG!!!&amp;nbsp; I wish that I had found this 4 days ago when FIBE TV was installed.&amp;nbsp; My remote kept locking up (remote would not do anything, regardless of button pushed). This was intermittent, but got severe on day 2.&amp;nbsp; Could be fixed for period by removing and reinstalling batteries (yes....I also used new batteries, in case the ones that came with the unit were poor). Hours of troubleshooting with BELL resulted with them sending new receiver (3 - 5 business days), new remotes (1 - 2 business days), which I did not expect to address the issue.&amp;nbsp; Fortunately I had 2 Bell receiver boxes installed and both behaved the same way.&amp;nbsp; So probability of this being a hardware issue was pretty low. I kept calling, even though new hardware was coming.&amp;nbsp; After call number six (I think), the person on the phone had me do a factory reset (button on the side of the receiver and follow the menu). I also pushed to get a repair tech on site. They showed up next day.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;and they installed a new receiver.&amp;nbsp; I showed the tech this Error screen and he knew nothing about it.&amp;nbsp; I did a factory reset on the new box, this error went away.....and the service has been pretty good (a bit of pixilating, some funny colours). The remote has not locked up since.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I pushed hard on the troubleshooting and solution as I had 10 days (buyers remorse) to remove the service at no cost, and still had COGECO system available (all Cogeco hardware unplugged to avoid WiFi interference, but all still in place).&amp;nbsp; I had similar horrific experience with Cogeco for the first 8 months after installation, so I was better prepared to stay on Bell until they fixed or gave up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Same scenario as others reported: Bell sent new remote, same problem, endless frustration. This solution worked perfectly (why didn't tech support suggest it?) PS—first replacement remote was sent to wrong address and after a week of waiting had to call for another one to be sent, which took another week.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Maybe some who have dealt with Bell for years would not be surprised, but I certainly was.&amp;nbsp; I called the Bell technical team to inform them of the solutions for this error 2000, as every time I called about it, they did not have a record of a Fibe tv 2000 error and their "solution" was to send hardware that did kot help. When I told the tech about the problem and the solution, I was told that, "they didn't need that information".&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold and hung up on.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I wrote a complaint in their "contact us" site, about the error and solution and the fact that the tech team did not accept any help.&amp;nbsp; I think it did nothing.&amp;nbsp; I was hoping to help other customers avoid the frustration.&amp;nbsp; Very unfortunate that Bell doesn't want to help themselves.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes unfortunate that this issue has been around for as long as it has been with bell support not having the same info communicated in the forum. The forum should never be a replacement for updated trouble shooting to support techs or online trouble shooting links. Seems that replace the product is often the first response.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I went to support today to guide me through setting up my third remote. Got the error 2000 as I expected. She then referred me to multifunction button. Mine is on right side. Directed me to click once. Do not hold. Then we did reset and now was able to access the settings remote control settings function. Guess this info has finally made it to support team. The link to the support doc they sent is still not complete so I let her know of that. She said the docs are always a work in process and thanked me for letting her know about the doc.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;So we now have the solution to the error 2000. Factory reset from multifunction button. Search multifunction button on 7802 and you will find more detail from forum operators. No reference yet exists in support docs we the user sees.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As I said. The forum should drive change to the support process and docs. Just last week they did not have this current solution available.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Glad to see some progress&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Out of curiousity I decided to see a week ago in first week of April if the rcu feature in settings and apps worked. Back to error 2000&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I reset to factory settings and resolved it. Wheeler checked again and same issue arose of error 2000.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Factory reset and resolved. Checked immediately afterword. Back to error 2000&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Left it the way it was.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Support doc still doesn't acknowledge error 2000 and need to factory reset. Solution remains send a new one.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just thought I would update. Clearly there is a bug in the receiver code and pairing routines and people don't know about until they loose control over tv power. If not a priority to fix this at least fix and clean up the forum posts and knowledge docs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
