Can you program 9500 remote to control the volume on an amplifier?

The Slim remote for the 9500 receiver only works for the receiver and is programmable for use with most TVs. It does not support devices such as an amplifier.

i have a Bose sound system - sometimes the bell slim remote will control volume but most time it doesn’t.
