    <description>&lt;P&gt;Good Day &amp;amp; Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Thank you for providing us with this comprehensive list of troubleshooting steps that you have taken to isolate the recording issues you are experiencing with the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;VIP5662W 4K PVR.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;It is very possible that the hard drive is no longer functioning properly. Telltale signs are incomplete or multi part recording, blank recording, freezing, difficulty accessing recordings, etc.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I will assume that when you mentioned rebooting your devices, you did a full power off with your PVR and modem by unplugging both of them from their power source, waiting 30 seconds, and plugging them back in. If not,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Start with the modem. Power it fully off. Wait 30 sec. and power it back on. Check for any error messages.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Now do a full reboot / power off and on with your PVR.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Try recording any program &amp;amp; see if you are experiencing the same issue.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In most cases, I would suggest running the&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://support.bell.ca/troubleshooting_tools_and_help/tv/fibe-tv" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Fibe TV: virtual repair tool&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;. The Virtual repair tool will check if the Bell hardware and network outside your home are working, as well as reboot and optimize the settings of the equipment inside your home. If a technician visit is required, the tool will help you book a repair appointment.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If after rebooting your equipment, this does not resolve your PVR issues, I would contact Bell Customer Service Fibe TV tech support to&amp;nbsp;speak with a technical support representative who will be able to determine whether your receiver is defective or not.       <description>&lt;P&gt;All of a sudden our receivers stopped recording our series. Contacted Bell and worked with a great tech person. In the end, I was sent a new receiver. Well - it does not record either. Does anyone have any ideas on what to try next? I am missing out on all my shows being recorded :(.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Can you share which modem, and what type of TV receiver you have? Also is this affecting all of your recordings, or just a certain channel/show, and can you clarify which channel(s)/show(s)? Also, are the recordings missing from multiple receivers in your home?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Normally the reasons below are why the event may not have recorded:&lt;BR /&gt;- Incorrect event information.&lt;BR /&gt;- Program change by the broadcaster.&lt;BR /&gt;- No available recording stream at schedule recording time (due to multiple recordings in progress).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;We recommend that you try searching for alternate play times and then recreate the timer. If you are recording a series please also delete and then recreate the series recording to see if that makes a difference.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;DIV&gt;The modem is a 3000.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;One of our receivers says 4K on the front and the other receiver says VIP 2502.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;neither receiver is recording. We have tried recording live TV, a single show, a series and live TV on various channels, and nothing is recording, although the red symbol shows like it is recording&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;It's possible this is caused by a defective hard drive, and we would like to test a bit further.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Can you please start watching Live TV, and then hit the record button and let us know if the recording light that is on the receiver turns on?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If it does not turn on, we recommend that you remove the hard drive from the receiver (squeeze the two tabs on the hard drive so you can slid it out, and put the hard drive back in), and check again to see if you can record successfully.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Do you ever schedule any of your recordings in the Fibe TV app while your receiver is not on?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Is this only affecting a certain show, or is it several? When you schedule a new recording do you see a red recording light on the front of your VIP5662W? &lt;P&gt;If you do continue to experience an issue with scheduled recordings you can try performing a factory reset. However, if the issue persists it may be that the hard drive is faulty and a replacement receiver is needed.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;so I started Live Tv hit record and the red light did not go on in front of the receiver. I took out the hard drive, waited 30 secs then put back in. Played Live Tv, hit record on a show- no red light again. Faulty receiver?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;What is the make and model of your PVR? VIP5662w or VIP7802&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Recordings are not available&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;error message appears when you try to watch a recording, you may have reached the maximum amount of paused or recorded content allowed on the Cloud PVR, or the connection between the receiver and PVR may have been momentarily lost.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;To troubleshoot the problem:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;If you've paused live TV on one of your TVs, try changing the channel.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Try restarting your Fibe TV Box by clicking the multi-function side button and scrolling to&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Restart&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The PVR in our VIP5662W 4K receiver is intermittenly dropping its list of programmed recording events for no reason I can think of.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Here's the setup&lt;/STRONG&gt;:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;I have all of our equipment on UPS's whose batteries are known fresh.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Our devices are all connected by Ehternet Cat6 cables and rock solid.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Our white Home Hub 4000 works well.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;All our other supported services run without a hitch:
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;TV service: smooth and continuous.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Internet: fast and flawless.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Home Phone: works fine.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;WiFi: excellent for both home and guest nets.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;My Cisco switch: shows things to be smooth as silk, no congestion or dropped packets, and sub-millisecond pings everywhere.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P class="lia-align-left"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Possible symptoms&lt;/STRONG&gt;: After I rebooted everything yesterday (other set top boxes included), the 5662 came back up but, this time, with no PVR functionality at all. I powered it down, re-seated the HDD underneath (just cuz - from my tech days), and powered it back up again. PVR was back and seemingly working well. I could record stuff. Huzzah! However, today, my wife tells me it's dropped everything again and nothing recorded.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Thank you for providing us with this comprehensive list of troubleshooting steps that you have taken to isolate the recording issues you are experiencing with the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;VIP5662W 4K PVR.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;It is very possible that the hard drive is no longer functioning properly. Telltale signs are incomplete or multi part recording, blank recording, freezing, difficulty accessing recordings, etc.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I will assume that when you mentioned rebooting your devices, you did a full power off with your PVR and modem by unplugging both of them from their power source, waiting 30 seconds, and plugging them back in. If not,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Start with the modem. Power it fully off. Wait 30 sec. and power it back on. Check for any error messages.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Now do a full reboot / power off and on with your PVR.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Try recording any program &amp;amp; see if you are experiencing the same issue.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In most cases, I would suggest running the&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://support.bell.ca/troubleshooting_tools_and_help/tv/fibe-tv" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Fibe TV: virtual repair tool&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;. The Virtual repair tool will check if the Bell hardware and network outside your home are working, as well as reboot and optimize the settings of the equipment inside your home. If a technician visit is required, the tool will help you book a repair appointment.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If after rebooting your equipment, this does not resolve your PVR issues, I would contact Bell Customer Service Fibe TV tech support to&amp;nbsp;speak with a technical support representative who will be able to determine whether your receiver is defective or not.
