Satellite picture quality fluctuates on Global channels

Anyone else notice picture quality changes especially on the SD channels on the 9500 receiver. last night with survivor at first picture was really sharp 4k quality, (not really i know just Hd ) but then went to SD quality after 15 to 20 minutes.Also CIA first 5 minutes is always pixelated then clears up. Both on Global channels, yes tried other global channels.

Does this issue happen frequently for the seems shows at the same time or was yesterday the first time you've experienced this?
Does this only happen with the Global channels?
To begin, we'd recommend rebooting your equipment and checking your signal strength.

It has been happening for a few weeks, also onTSN occasionally. So Global and TSN we noticed it. Signal strengh 95 to 100 %. PVR rebooted aleady no differnece.

We record allot of our stuff so we only watch TV in the evening. All the recordings are usually in the evenings. Other shows like NCIS Sidney also had some picture freezing on Global. Noticed Dtour in SD picture quality like HD content.

It is more pixelating than freezing lasts for about 5 minutes, all on recordings only, do not notice it on live tv. I guess we notice more on global because we watch global lots. So maybe it is Hard drive issues but how can you know for sure?

We had a couple power outages rebooted the power couple times last couple days seems to have corrected some of the issues. Will see if it is fixed Lol

It was 204 and 217 Global. Will see if it still continues. I will post if it does. We taped CIA had pixelation.

Have you tried changing the transponder on the dish . There an option for synchronizing problem with pixalation with sportsnet pacific and loosing volume and was on the phone with bell and was simple. So having problems I hope help

Synchronize and then press bell button and reset . It changes the transponder and it worked .

Hope you have fixed . I checked bell Fibe app around the same time just to check if was just me and channel was working on Fibe just not sat was . It sounded as a same problem I had but you have two channels

Thanks for all the info, I did try changing the transponder no change. Seems non recorded channels have occasional pixelation now, will monitor it.
