topic Signal converter cracked in TV & Streaming

We discovered during this last 3 day rain that our signal converter on our dish was cracked and had water in it, therefore not having reception for 3 days now. Where can we get a new signal converter, or do we need a tech to come and install a new dish.

Good Day & Welcome.

Thank you for posting your question.

Yes, you can replace or upgrade the LNB (Low Noise Block) on your Bell satellite dish. However, if your dish is old or if you are switching from standard-definition to high-definition, you may need to replace the entire dish assembly as well. E.g. LNB for Bell Satellite, etc.

If your dish is damaged or needs replacement, I would contact Bell Satellite TV customer support to arrange for a technician to install a new one as part of your service.

Bell charges for technician service calls to replace a satellite LNB or satellite dish unless you have an equipment protection plan, E.g. Dish Care.

If you need to report a defective dish or request a service call, you can reach the Bell Satellite technical support team directly at: 1 888 759-3474

Take care.
