Fibe TV app cloud PVR and Download and Go in the USA

I was told that while in the USA, I can download the MyBell app onto our Smart TV. Then we could somehow download/upload to the cloud episodes of a favourite Canadian show. Is this the case?

Unfortunately, this is not the case. Bell Fibe TV access is restricted to Canadian IP addresses. This is due to content licensing agreements and TV rights, which only cover Canada.
If you're trying to access Bell Fibe TV outside of Canada, you will see an error message: “Bell Fibe TV is not available in your area.” This is due to TV rights agreements.

The Fibe TV app and the recordings that are stored on the Cloud PVR are not available for download in the USA.

If you are travelling outside of Canada, you can use the Download and Go feature on the Fibe TV App.

With Download and Go, you can download subscription on-demand shows and movies to your mobile phone or tablet and watch them offline, without being connected to Wi-Fi or a mobile network.

Please note: You can only download shows to your device while you are in Canada.
