I have used the Fibe TV app on my laptop and it works very well. Is it possible to record (to laptop hard drive) from the Fibe TV app?

You can record and playback a recording on a laptop computer using the Fibe TV app. Unfortunately, you cannot save these recordings to the hard drive on your laptop.

Fibe TV is a cloud-based storage system for all of your recordings. You can store up to 320 hours of recordings, regardless of resolution, for up to 60 days.

In order to watch a Satellite TV recording on the Fibe TV app, you must schedule the recording using the Fibe TV app & vice versa when you are using a satellite receiver.
