Bell streamer security update and can no longer use Google Home as a remote?

Hello, I completed the security update on my streamer last night, and now the remote on google home won’t work. It is all grey and buttons don’t work. I don’t have a physical remote as it stopped working a while ago. Is there any other option for a remote? I can stream from the bell Fibe app, but now can’t access any apps such as Netflix.

Welcome to the Bell community, and thank you for your post.

What is the make and model of the device you're using with the Google Home app as the remote? Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far?

As a start, we would recommend the following:

In the Google Home app, remove the existing Bell Streamer and then add it back to see if the remote controls become active again.
Force close and reopen the Google Home app, then check whether the remote buttons are responsive.
Ensure your device and the Bell Streamer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Restart the Bell Streamer by unplugging it from power for about 30 seconds and plugging it back in.

I have done all if the steps above and it still doesn't work. I am using an iphone 17 pro. It worked before completing the latest update on the streamer
