I have the new small fibe reciever. It's working fine connected to my 2nd tv in the bedrm. But when the tv is off it won't stop flashing green... + 5 days now since the install. Its bothersome at night. What to do so it stops ?

If I recall correctly in fhe Devjce settings there is a place over there to change the LED intensity.

At low it should be fairly unnoticable.

I'll look for that setting, although I don't think it should be constantly flashing when turned off. MY PVR box doesn't. It more a slow pulsing light than a flash.

Just had Bell tech at our place to check our systems. One of our two tv receivers does a slow flash on and off of the green light. I call it more of a "Yawn". The other TV receiver is green all the time. The BellTech (8 months with Bell) had no idea why the one was yawning and the other stays green on. He swapped out the flashing/yawning tv receiver for a new-out-of-the-box unit and it did the same. Both tv receivers are connected to a receiver for surround sound but one is Samsung and the other Onkyo. Otherwise same systems.

I am at a loss to explain and it seems that Bell is too.

You can unplug it at night. Anyway all recordings are done in the cloud. We don’t have to turn on the dvr unless for 4K, Restart, recordings older than 60 days, management & select on-demand titles.

Thanks for this but unplugging it sounds like a very old way of fixing something... I don't understand why my PVR receiver doesn't flash but the 2nd receiver in the bedrm does? Its something that should be taken care of by Bell for what we pay per year for the services. Bell, please give us a solution!

Nah, Bell started to allow recordings to be done in their servers in 2021. Before then you had to keep the dvr on anytime when there was a scheduled mission cause it would save the recordings directly to the hardware instead of syncing remotely.
If it really bother you very much but doesn’t warrant satisfactory credits, maybe you need to replace the TV, cause the other TV doesn’t have this problem and the new replacement also flashes.

It seems to be an indication of standby mode. I left my condo for the day & when I returned I found it’s been “yawning” in kinda yellow & white mixed light. It’s gone after I start to use my dvr.
