Did you by contact Bell Satellite TV as part of the SD receiver replacement program?

The 6500 is a HD receiver. The 6131 is an older model HD receiver. The 9400 is HD PVR Receiver. The 6500 is definitely not a replacement for the 9400 HD PVR as it can not record.

Have you checked your TV service on MyBell to confirm just what equipment you do have listed under your account. I would do this to start off with. Each piece of equipment will have an ID number on the back.

I would then contact Bell TV support to confirm that there was no mistake made in the receiver being sent to you.

They will advise on what to do next. This is the Bell Satellite TV number to call: 1 888 759-3474

Take care.

Thank you for reaching out to the Bell Communitry Forum.

We received a new 6500. We have a 6131 and a 9400. The insert seems to indicate Bell thinks we are replacing 4100. Just confused what I should switch out or if they even sent correct one. Will call if no one has any input 🤪
