Bell continually adheres with current security protocol standards. These changes are not exclusive to Bell; supporting the latest security protocols is an industry standard practice to ensure the best experience.
Bell sent emails to a limited base of customers starting in January 2024 through March 2024.
Customers were identified as having accessed their Bell email from one or more devices that did not meet minimum system requirements coming into effect on April 30th, 2024. However, Bell cannot identify the exact email client, web browser, operating system or device that was used. The email addresses were exclusively used as the basis of our email campaign.
The “System requirements
” button in the email to customers links to a support page that lists the minimum operating system requirements across browsers and operating systems.
If customers meet or exceed minimum system requirements or have since updated their web browsers and/or operating systems, then no further action is required.
Agents cannot provide instructions on how to update various email clients, operating systems or browsers. Alternatively, customers can check out Bell Tech Expert if they need assistance updating computers operating systems and/or browsers.
